So, not only does Bill O’Reilly blame “far-left zealots” and “Fox News haters” for exploiting the murder of Dr. George Tiller, but, according to him, they’re also to blame for the shooting outside of an Army recruiting center in Little Rock, Arkansas. The gunman, identified by the police as Abdulhakim Mujahid Muhammad of Little Rock, was upset with the killing of Muslims in Iraq and Afghanistan.
O’REILLY: Since they have been unrelenting in describing their country as a torture nation, I’m sure that set this muslim guy off to kill one and wound another of our military and I’m sure that’s NBC’s fault. Look, the absurdity of this is beyond the pale.
Bill O’Reilly is full of crap. It had nothing to do with anybody “describing their country as a torture nation.” The U.S. is, in fact, a nation that has tortured, under the Bush Administration, and it is involved in two wars with Muslim countries, thanks to the Bush Administration. Those are the facts, neither of which have anything to do NBC, or progressive bloggers, and more to do with Bush and Cheney.
O’Reilly is correct about one thing though: “the absurdity of this is beyond pale.”

Leave it to a “patriot” like O’Reilly. What a loudmouth blowhard.
Of course you quoted out of context, what he said was comparing his coverage of the Tiller case to the mans murder is like blaiming NBC for inciting violence against the hc museum.
Tiller did late term abortions that were not necessary, some nutjob shot him, the nutjob was a nutjob, nothing more. Blaming anyone for the guys death beyond the person who killed him is a nut.
We are in Iraq and Afganistan because the congress and the senate approved these actions.
Nice try though
Joe, Here’s the context… He was a guest of Laura Ingraham and they were discussing the cause of the recruiting center attack being web sites and news outlets that were critical of the war in Iraq. She brought up Tiller’s murder being blamed on talk radio as a childish tit for tat argument.
Again, the conversation was not about Tiller’s murder. I’ve already answered your other comment about that subject, but I will respond to your comment by repeating the fact that the late term abortions provided by Dr. Tiller were legal and necessary for the health and well being of the mothers, as agreed upon by two doctors. As for the war comment, Congress and Senate approved the actions based on lies.
