  1. Do these boycotts really have an affect in the long run? I still see some of those sponsors on FNC, and while I can see the immediate impact, I was wondering if you have any data on long-term customer affect.

  2. I think these boycotts do damage the intended entity (Fox News in this case). Even if it’s only affecting die-hards, they still make up part of the overall consumption of the product.

    I remember when there was a boycott against Disney and I believe it impacted them by 2% before the issue was resolved. Still 2% of a multi-billion-dollar company is significant.
