Borrowing the following graphic from the American Life League (ALL), a Christian pro-life organization, Fox News promotes its anti-choice agenda while discussing health care reform.

The “growing… growing… gone.” graphic is from ALL’s 2008 Pro-Life T-shirt Day. Regardless of anyone’s views on abortion, the decision to run such an image is purely subjective and does not provide anything to support a factual news report. So, why did Fox News use it?

To anyone who says that the above graphic doesn’t matter, then shouldn’t Fox News run one that states, “Against abortion? Don’t have one” the next time they bring up the issue?

Would that help, or harm Fox News’ agenda? Keep in mind that real news should be agenda-free.

  1. How about ” SOmething like “Against abortion? Tell your government not to use your tax dollars to pay for one”. I’d back that one.

  2. Don’t have one?

    Ok…against murder? don’t kill anyone.

    Simple.

  3. Stacey Hall says:

Or how about “How many crack babies have you adopted today?” Get real, virtually no one against abortion has filled their houses with bunk beds to take in kids. almost no adoptive family is willing to say “oh your a crack head that dabbles in shooting up heroin, sure I want your baby!” How many of those fox entertainment anchors have adopted unwanted kids? I’m betting on a big fat zero. Don’t preach about it unless your going to do your God given duty to fix the end result if you win.

  4. One thing i really like about anti-abortionists is that they fight for a standard of accountability.
@stacey hall – I’s not the “God given duty” of the fox news anchors to be accountable for the children your talking about, it’s the parents who had the child. Federal funding for abortions in those cases makes mistakes excusable, which is unacceptable. Everyone should be accountable for their own actions, don’t you agree?
