Republican political consultant and GOP pollster Frank Luntz, who has worked with Fox News running focus groups, appears to be the one behind calling the “public option” the “government option,” a phrase that Fox News has now used… An example of Fox News using talking points from people with ties to the GOP.
Here is Luntz using the phrase on Hannity about a week ago:
Frank Luntz has been blasted for stating that the key to polling is “to ask a question in the way that you get the right answer.” Fellow Republican pollster Bill McInturff called Luntz “a moron.”
