Just found this older post today. Will check for updates to Ford’s and other auto manufacturers advert policies. Am in market to buy a new or used vehicle. Will seek more info and purchase accordingly. Thanks.

I have a Ford sitting in my yard, useless, that I still owe over $4,000.00 on. Sadly the repairs to make it legal to drive will cost me over $2,000.00, after the $2,000.00 already spent on repairs. Now I can add their advertising practices to the comments I have about their worthless products. This was the 3rd ford, and the last ford, I purchased. I now own an American made car that I love, a Dodge.

All the more reason to not buy American cars, I suppose. When the brand is more concerned about reach and not it’s brand integrity, I cannot support this stupidity.

Here is the email I just sent to the Ford Motor Company spinmeister:

Once Again, Ford Motor Company Supports Fascism

Seventy some years ago, the founder of Ford Motor Company financed the publication and distribution of racist hate propaganda both in the United States and in Nazi Germany. Adolph Hitler in gratitude hung a portrait of Henry Ford in his office and awarded the American industrialist/fascist Nazi Germany’s highest medal of honor given to a non-German.

History, sad to say, is repeating itself. Ford Motor Company now supports racist and violent hate mongering being broadcast 24/7 over the FOX “News” network.

You recently dismissed another person’s plea to stop supporting FOX News’ violence-instigating hate mongering with this claim:

“By buying commercial time on top-rated shows, we are not making judgment on the specific content of the show but simply making an optimized attempt to reach our many customers through award-winning television programming. ”

Sounds an awful lot like Ford Motor Company’s defense for doing business in Nazi-occupied Europe — making trucks and other war vehicles for Hitler’s war efforts — even when American boys were dying in battle against the Nazis.

Shame on Henry Ford and his descendants. Shame on Ford Motor Company and its long history of supporting fascism. And shame on you for your transparently lame excuse.

By the way, Chrysler has agreed not to advertise on the Fascist News network. Chrysler was always a red, white, and blue American company. It never built war vehicles to help the Nazis kill American soldiers.
