Sarah Palin to Become Fox News Contributor

It was just a matter of time… Fox News has confirmed that Sarah Palin, who regularly said that Saddam Hussein was behind 9/11, will join FNC as a contributor. Apparently, she will host an occasional series, but will not have her own show.

Palin won’t be the first GOP governor to become a Fox News personality, as she will be joining the channel that hosts Mike Huckabee’s weekend show. Also, Fox News’ Greta Van Susteren is close friends with the Palin family, her husband having been an adviser for Sarah Palin. Fox News also invited the Palins to the White House Correspondents Dinner, though only Todd attended.

The editors will be busy if the ‘zero tolerance for on-screen errors‘ policy is enforced… which, we’ve seen, is not.

Watch FNC’s ratings climb even higher now. You FNBers must really be gnashing your teeth over this one.

Any perceived increase in ratings due to Palin are of no concern. She, and likely most of her fans, were already FNC viewers. Like Beck, she may attract more of the opposition viewership who watch for the comedy. The thing that should concern everyone is that the VP of Programming has made it clear that they welcome the controversy she will bring and that he hopes she will further polarize politics. This is not a good thing. For anyone.

@Marbran……….I could care less about ratings. And BTW, cable ratings are smashed by regular TVs ratings so, its like comparing major league baseball to minor league baseball, Fox is the big fish in the small pond, so what?

And regardless of political affiliation, if you think Palin is a smart choice for any position…….from VP to president of the PTA, youre a clueless idiot.

I don’t think they’ll be talking to her about foreign policy or political history since she has no idea about any of that stuff. She could make things up though. For a moment I forgot this is Fox News and they live on their revised history and made up facts. She’ll fit right in!

No kidding… They may use her to try and back up Beck’s incorrect version of Alaska’s history:

I think Palin is soooo stupid that even the FNC will get tired of her quick. The thing about O’Reilly and Hannity is that they know they are lying and dont care, which is pure evil. Palin is just so stupid that she dont know what she’s talking about…..so I think if FNC even tries to train her to be pure evil and lie, she’ll fail at that too……we have nothing to worry about. The noose it tied, we just need her to walk off the edge.
