  1. Wow… talk about hate mongering! “Turn off Fox?” What ever happen to free speech? No one is forced to watch or listen. Don’t you think your time and money would be better spend trying to get your message out and convince people that you are right …instead of just trying to squash someone else’s message?

  2. FoxNewsBoycott says:

Steve, Aren’t you trying to do the same (squashing someone else’s message)? BuzzFlash is entitled to their freedom of speech and is requesting that people ask businesses to turn Fox News off, or not support those businesses, which is also an example of our free market economy at work. A multinational media conglomerate with millions of dollars in corporate advertising paying their shills to promote whatever agenda(s) the owner and corporations desire is not an example of freedom of speech. Businesses are not entitled to our money and a television network is not entitled to our support, or the support of those businesses who realize that a divisive/partisan approach is not in their best interest.

  3. Let me see if I have this right… you’re suggesting that BuzzFlash is exercising its freedom of speech by trying to shut down Fox News… because you don’t like what Fox News is saying. So following that line of logic, you would be OK with me starting a “Turn off BuzzFlash” campaign because I wouldn’t be infringing on your right to use BuzzFlash… that’s just me exercising my freedom of speech? I support your right to not like Fox, can’t you support other people’s right to watch it? I stumbled on to this web by accident and just can’t understand why it is so negatively driven. Why not put your energy into getting your message out instead of just trying to squash the other side. Maybe I would agree with you, but I need to hear both sides.

FOX IS “hate speach,” pure and simple, and full time, 7 days a week. We have the right to tell it like it is, and we do! “Hate mongering” was invented by the Republicans, and it’s done every day, every minute, and every second at FOX News, and our job is to tell the world all about it. We take our job very seriously here. That’s our “free speech” right to do! So sorry we will no longer roll over and “take it” anymore for you sadists and hate mongers, but the tables are turned!

  5. FoxNewsBoycott says:

Steve, You’ve got that right. BuzzFlash, just like you and I, have the First Amendment that allows us to disagree with whatever we want. Do you want to take away that right? It sure seems like it… You can absolutely use the above logic to start a “Turn off BuzzFlash” campaign – that is your right (unless you don’t want it) afforded by the First Amendment.
That said, when you work for a corporation that has an owner and sponsors whom you must answer to and whose agenda you must support, you do not necessarily have the same freedom of speech. You have the freedom to work there or not. That is all. Likewise, we all, as fair market consumers, have the right to support those businesses with our money. That is your right as well (unless you don’t want it).

  6. Steve,

Criticizing BuzzFash for trying to turn off FOX is like criticizing the Non-Nazis for asking people turn off Joseph Goebbels. Germany was a free society too. FOX “News” read “Propaganda” can broadcast all they want…..we just don’t have to listen. And we all have the right, and I would argue responsibility to ask people not to listen to their lies, half lies and just plain BS. This is pure conservatism at work. If you don’t like what people are selling you, you stop buying it. Market forces at work. The right wing should be proud of us!!!!

Stop the Assault on the Intelligence of the America People.

It is astonishing to me to witness the mainly, white conservatives; whom apparently have some type of psychological need to watch a partisan News channel that has been exposed as a political arm of the Republican Party, Wall St Corporations and has admitted of bring an Entertainment channel vs a New Channel . I am perplexed on how most of this obvious, politically, motivated and consequently non-journalistic propaganda is being picked up by the so-called Mainstream Media. In fact ,Mainstream Media are complicit in the Dumbing Down Campaign of American Citizen by Fox .
In Fox’s eagerness in echoing the instruction from the Republican Party and their Corporative master, have unwittingly awaken ,educated and united the values of the Low and the Middle class, that live on Main Street’s. In my opinion , the 2012 election is not only about Jobs but these united values the Main Street Majority share, mainly stopping the Plutocratic repeat agenda of the Republican and their Corporative benefactors. Now it is up to the Democrats to embrace the values of the Poor, the Low and Middle class workers living on Main St and boldly Stop the Assault on our Democracy.
