Never short of comedic material, Glenn Beck doesn’t short us on laughs this time around… In one breath, Beck’s actor portraying Thomas Paine makes a comparison of Obama and his economic policies to the bombing of Pearl Harbor as well as the planes crashing into the World Trade Center and the Pentagon.

“Your complacency will only aid and abet our national suicide. Remember, they wouldn’t dare bomb Pearl Harbor, but they did. They wouldn’t dare drive two planes into the World Trade Center, but they did. They wouldn’t dare pilot a plane through the most sophisticated air defenses in the world and crash into the Pentagon, but they did. They wouldn’t dare pass the largest spending bill in history, in open defiance of the will of the people*, but they did!”

What would the reasoning be behind such an absurd statement? Desperation. It’s a fear mongering tactic to try to gain support for their Tea Party protests and there is sure to be more to come as we get closer to April 15 and they realize that the streets will be as empty as their threats.

  1. Keep up the good work!!!

    Thanks Josh! You too :)

  3. What makes me so angry about the finance bailouts is that it is so often attributed to Obama’s “socialist agenda,” deliberately ignoring the FACT that the bill was proposed, amended, and PASSED under the Bush administration. At the very least one could consider that the Senate and Ben Bernanke had something to do with it, not the then democratic presidential candidate.

Obama could end partisanship in both the House and Senate, and Glenn Beck would say that Obama is trying to create a new world order. Like the Nazi’s.

  4. By the way, keep up the great work!!
