The Senate, today, defeated an amendment that would allow people to carry concealed firearms across state lines. Glenn Beck spoke to the amendment’s sponsor, Senator John Thune (R-SD) and made the following remark:
BECK: I’m a gun owner, and I’m a member of the NRA, and I am a concealed weapons permit holder. So, I mean, I love guns!… I went to the movie this weekend with a gun. And surprise, surprise, I didn’t kill anybody!
