The fact he hasn’t repudiated this claim proves he raped and murdered a girl in 1990. He hasn’t denied he then had sex with her dead body, so he probably did that, too, even though there’s no evidence. But, probably he did.
Anyway, it’s up to him to prove he didn’t rape and murder a girl in 1990 and then eat her flesh and grind her bones into a cake and serve it to his local church where he then had sex with a goat and ended the night by vomiting. There’s no evidence he did all that, but that doesn’t mean it didn’t happen, either.
But he probably did rape and kill that girl in 1990 even though it can’t be proven. But that’s how he rolls. So I heard.

But we think Glenn Beck definitely uses tactics like this to spread lies and misinformation.” And why should he deny it, this is America its “innocent until proven guilty” not guilty til proven innocent.

Reasonable people understand that the rape/murder rumor is parody/satire and that it’s not remotely grounded in truth, while showing Beck’s methods of casting baseless aspersions. Unreasonable people think the rumor starters & spreaders are serious about the allegations.

It appears that this is not a bunch of jovial Internet pranksters suddenly becoming socialists and deciding to do a character assassination of Glenn Beck.

Plunket, Thank you for thinking it’s beneath FNB; however, I must point out that you’ve missed the purpose and that was to show an example of Beck’s reporting style, or lack thereof. He makes accusations and asks for proof, which is argumentum ad ignorantiam, or a negative proof fallacy. He also has joked, numerous times, about murder, poisoning, beating people in the heads with shovels, etc., all without a disclaimer.
There were two reasons the rape/murder issue was involved and that is 1) because it has a history of use (see roast of Bob Saget) and 2) it is not believable. Had the “rumor” involved something like tax evasion, which Beck promoted, or drug use, which Beck has a history of, then that would have just been mean spirited because more people would believe it, thus not proving the point of providing an example of Beck’s fallacious reasoning.

It’s not “mean spirited” in the sense that it’s not believable, nor was that the intention. People would believe claims of tax evasion or drug use because Beck has ether suggested or committed those crimes. If you want to claim the Saget roast is case law because it shows there is a past history of satirical use of this meme, then by all means… The real issue, what prompted the meme, is that Beck does the same thing – uses fallacious reasoning and jokes about killing people – so, do you defend those actions?

Is this a satire/parody of how Beck mixes truths with untruths or out and out presents untruths? Did Beck rape but not murder or murder but not rape? Did everyone he had sex with in 1990 agree to it? Beck’s “fact” set seems to ignore financial system melt and recession for any unemployment woes and the “fact” that Bush, not Pelosi, was the President signing the minimum wage into law.

I don’t know that I really believe all of these theories about Glenn Beck raping and murdering a girl in 1990, but it did sort of pique my interest. Being a bit of an amateur historian, I decided to dig through local newspapers in places people had mentioned. The police report that’s floating around (clearly a fake in my opinion) was from Durham New Hampshire, so I followed up on news from the area and found the following AP wire story. I’m not saying Glenn Beck raped and murdered that dismembered girl, but it still seems like a weird coincidence.

DURHAM, N.H. (AP) – Following an exhaustive search by divers and chain dragging of Durham Reservoir, police have found the remains of an unidentified young woman who officials say appears to be in her late teens to early twenties.
The search was prompted after a local man walking his dog near the reservoir saw a suspicious object floating in the water, causing him to call the police. The object proved to be a human arm.
“Without a doubt, this is the most grisly murder I’ve seen in years,” said Police Chief Paul Gown. “Whoever did this has some serious problems.”
While the police refused to speculate about the cause of death before an autopsy is conducted, Gowen did note that there were clear signs of sexual assault. The remains were found in black plastic trash bags at the bottom of the lake, weighted with rocks.

Police officials say they are reviewing missing persons reports from the past year in hopes of identifying the body.

That is indeed interesting since Beck was working in New Haven, CT that year doing the weekday morning show on WKCI-FM… only a 3.5-hour drive from Durham, NH.
It is indeed plausable that a person working in New Haven, CT and having weekends free could rape, murder and dismember a young female and dump the body 197-miles away unnoticed without missing a day of work.
