Thank you. If anyone is incensed enough with Glenn Beck that they want to take away his livelihood then they should write their own letter. That’s why the town halls were such a shock to the politicians hosting them. They were used to scripted events and average citizens (for the most part) with real complaints showed up. It wasn’t always pretty, but it was effective.

You don’t need Color of Change’s talking points to make your point. Your words will mean more to the editor of your local paper if they are, indeed, your own words. That was my original point.

I should correct myself – it is not a form letter, but rather a form for you to write your own letter. There’s a big difference. Color Of Change does not want you to copy/paste their wording, they do not provide a sample letter and they definitely do not write the letter for you.

My complaint was with Color of Change, not the messenger. This form letter sounds like politics as usual, not “change”.

Don’t give me that line about going “to every other site on the Internet …and complain.” You don’t complain and criticize any other cable news outlet. Just Fox News. So yes, you are honored.

“We’ve got a tool that makes it very easy and gives you tips for writing your letter.” Basically, Color of Change will write the letter for you.

“We’ll provide you with talking points…” And Color of Change will think for you.

Can’t Beck opponents compose their own letters and speak their own minds? Color of Change doesn’t have much faith in their following.
