Rumors are going around, based on an article from TVNewser, on mediabistro.com, that Glenn Beck is taking a “forced” vacation. Unfortunately, no sources are named, but I suspect that is because they work at Fox News Channel and fear repercussions.

Tipsters inside Fox News tell us Glenn Beck’s vacation this week from his Fox News show was not planned. We hear Beck was told to take this week off to let some of the heat surrounding him die down.

Apparently Beck’s publicist and other people close to Beck have denied this, but the sources claim that it was Beck, himself, that stated he was forced to take the week off. He will return, in all his bigoted glory, on Monday.

  1. I only hope that everyone keeps the pressures on the sponsors and FOX news. This guy is just an entertainer – but he spouts a lot of dangerous rhetoric that just polarizes Americans – and will bring back hatreds that should have been put to bed 40 years ago.

  2. Please copy sign and send to Fox News.

    Greetings
I am signing this online petition not to thank Glenn Beck for his bold stand for the Principles and Values that he holds dear or for his desire to educate the American public, but to alert people to be appalled by them.
Mr. Beck has erroneously motivated tens of thousands to learn incorrectly about the U.S. Constitution and the founding of our great country. He has helped expose the corruption in the Republican political Party, Fox News, and himself, and speaks from the heart even when it is not logically correct and may be considered controversial by many to do so.
I am also signing this petition to ask Fox News Channel to discontinue support of the Glenn Beck television program and to let his advertisers know that I proudly reject the Glenn Beck program and will look to reward those that drop advertising on his show by using their products and services when possible.
To current or past advertisers that have reportedly withdrawn support of his program, you are to be congratulated. To those that are continuing to advertise to appease the demands of special interest groups, please know that I reserve the right to stop purchasing your product or using your services as a form of economic protest.
