Have you heard? Fox News is promoting Tea Party protests and will cover it extensively. The Internet was abuzz pointing out that Fox has not provided equal coverage for similar events that are not in line with the right wing agenda and that neither MSNBC, nor CNN, have promoted anything like this. Neil Cavuto went on the defensive and got caught in a lie.

Cavuto, like an annoying parrot, mimicked the Fox News “fair and balanced” slogan and stated that they covered the Million Man March, which took place in 1995. The problem is that Fox News wasn’t around then. FNC couldn’t be seen on TV until the following year. Nice try Cavuto.

  1. I ran across your website searching for Neil Cavuto since I found out that he is diagnosed with Multiple Sclerosis. I just felt I had to post due to the cute name that you site has. You can attempt to boycott…good luck. You obviously watch it since you “Caught him in a lie” LOL. If you look at what he said from a LIBERAL view then I can see your point. But maybe….just maybe he may have meant that “WE” were the anchors currently at FOX working for other networks at the time. Which is TRUTH. Did he in fact say that FOX covered it or WE? Also if we were to boycott FOX how would we get our news….is there something else out there?

It’s absolutely clear that Cavuto was speaking in the Fox News sense of the word “we.” He was being defensive about the reports of the Fox News bias regarding the tea party coverage vs. coverage of other large events, i.e. the Million Man March.

Also, there appears to be little confusion that this site is devoted to a boycott of not only Fox News, but their advertisers. Obviously, I watch Fox News and visit FoxNews.com, but I do that so others don’t have to. I also don’t intend on supporting their advertisers, so whether I watch or visit, it doesn’t matter.

  3. I honestly can’t dispute your reply, since I have not watch the video. (I know it is up there and maybe I’ll watch it later, at work it is blocked). I understand you “watch so others don’t have to” That is your right to boycott and create a website about it. I was just “rib’n” you. I don’t agree with you but I think that it is great that you can have a website to talk about your opinions. As far as “caught in a lie” MY opinion is ……Is there really any news agency out there anymore that does not SEEM to have an agenda, be it left or right? My feeling is that ALL media has become almost as corrupt as DC. It sickens me how politicians put a spin on everything they say and now the media is doing just the EXACT same thing. Our Politics are broke and our news agencies are broke. We as Americans have to be vigilant in doing our own homework (thanks to the web and other resources) to filter through the twists and turns to find the truth. It can be very hard at times. Those that walk through life with blinders on and think anything that only one of FOX , CNN, MSNBC, ABC, CBS, NY Times, NY Post, etc……… says is Gospel…….its not….research it find the truth. FOX is not always perfect, but in my opinion they seem to be the closest to reality (not always though) but I give the Bias Trophy, hands down, to MSNBC. My opinion.

Side Note……on your icon…..FNB looks real close to FBN…..”Neil Cavutos bread and butter”…….”If you don’t get it…….demand it!” LOL

  4. The only problem with a website like this is that fox news has higher ratings than all the other cable networks combined regardless of how you try to twist that. This website is nothing but a hate website. A poll “who is the worse fox news personality”. good luck with your efforts.

  5. FoxNewsBoycott says:

Doug, I would be worried about your comment, but, like your other one, you provide nothing to back it up… Fox News may have overall cable news TV ratings that are higher, but not so much when you break down demographics. Also, FoxNews.com was a distant 6th place for top global online news sites, behind CNN & MSNBC.

Gee, too bad you’re all so upset. For years now, every other news channel has openly sided with the left. So, why get so upset over one measly news channel that tells the truth. The other channels leave out whatever will not promote the Democratic agenda. Really objective reporting! Why don’t you investigate Jeffrey Emmelt of GE? Afraid of the results that will further diminish the objectivity of all the other liberal channels. You can try to boycott Fox News, but the message is out there to too many people now. You better hope Obama can ram through his agenda quickly before the chaos settles and people wake up to what is really going on. You better take your blinders off, this man is changing our country all right, but for the worse and your families will be worse off than ever before. Don’t be so closed minded, don’t drink the kool aid. I wonder if this comment will stay published. True to the liberal nature, you’ll probably delete it before too many people can read it.

  7. FoxNewsBoycott says:

I hate doing this, but you’re all over the place, so I’ll address each part separately…

“Gee, too bad you’re all so upset. ”
This is another version of the lame ‘____ makes you cry’, or ‘you’re afraid of ____’ argument, which is BS. We’re not upset, crying, or afraid. We don’t like the fact that Fox News openly reports lies and deceit and, as Fox News’ own Charles Krauthammer stated, Fox News has ‘created an alternate reality.’

“For years now, every other news channel has openly sided with the left.”
Oh, yes, the ‘liberal media’ angle. It didn’t take you long to bring up that fallacy. I’ve already addressed that elsewhere & don’t feel like rehashing the same tired debate that you all love to beat like a dead horse.

“So, why get so upset over one measly news channel that tells the truth.”
A twofer – I’ve already answered the ‘upset’ comment, so let’s go with the ‘truth’ comment. Take a look around the site. Many a lie and falsehood have been posted. There is a ton of documented proof that Fox News Channel is not nearly truthful. But you wouldn’t be interested in that, I’m sure…

“The other channels leave out whatever will not promote the Democratic agenda. Really objective reporting!”
Back to the ‘liberal media’ BS. Been there, done that. Try again. Or don’t. Nobody cares.

“Why don’t you investigate Jeffrey Emmelt of GE? Afraid of the results that will further diminish the objectivity of all the other liberal channels.”
Did you not see the name of the site? Does it say FoxNewsandGEBoycott.com? I’m focusing on Fox News, so what anyone at GE does is of no concern of this site. That’s for another site. Go ahead and start that if you wish. That’s your right.

“You can try to boycott Fox News, but the message is out there to too many people now.”
Unfortunately, you’re right, there are a lot of gullible people out there.

“You better hope Obama can ram through his agenda quickly before the chaos settles and people wake up to what is really going on.”
What is going on here is that this site focuses on Fox News, its personalities and the crap they spew. You have no idea how I feel about Obama & what is going on. That’s just a blatant and ignorant attack with no connection to this site or the issues discussed. Obviously, you need to vent, so I suggest starting your own site for that. Maybe someone will care.

“You better take your blinders off, this man is changing our country all right, but for the worse and your families will be worse off than ever before. ”
My family is only worse off because of things that happened because of, or during George W. Bush’s presidency. Barack Obama has been in office for less than five months. He is hardly the cause of anything that has already, or is currently, affecting my family. The future may be different, but it’s too early to tell. That’s called being objective and not having blinders on. You are so focused on the hate that you can’t see…

“Don’t be so closed minded, don’t drink the kool aid.”
I have a closed mind? You’re the one, here, posting off topic, with nothing but a negative ADD induced rant that has no focus but the hate you feel for Democrats, liberals and the President.

“I wonder if this comment will stay published. True to the liberal nature, you’ll probably delete it before too many people can read it.”
Comments are moderated, so it’s not a matter of deleting your comment, it’s a matter of approving it so I can have fun responding to its ridiculousness. The only reason I wouldn’t approve your comment is because you have completely failed to read the Comment Policy. Normally, a post that is so off topic and not once addresses the topic under which you posted would be deleted. That has nothing to do with any politically-affiliated nature, liberal or not.

  8. why does fox lie,not let people make a point?
i do not watch that news anymore they didn’t even talk about the election in NY-26 why?
