One must not rely on television for truth. Money talks, but says only what is in it’s best interest. Because so many of the American populace love to hear things that support their biases but do not check the veracity of what they hear, we now have a culture of “don’t confuse me with the facts, I have already made up my mind.” I have boycotted Fox (especially the shows masquarading as News) for many years. I am a true Independent, so this is not politically motivated. However, it is important to me that my opinions and stances be based on truth. I rely on Factcheck.org and not on anything on TV. When did being intelligent and informed become a bad thing in this country – something to be scorned?

What makes me mad though is they cant ever genuinely apologize……they have to always add some sarcastic remark at the end to save face……….”oh, by the way, thanks for watching our show”. they always have to have a “by the way”, because they cant actually apologize for anything they do, even when they blatantly get caught.
